Audio-analysis & reactive animation software in vvvv.
These images are live captures from code created in vvvv and rendered through DirectX for past VJ gigs. They provide a document of how these 'patches' appear when projected in real-time, without the artefacts of online video. Custom code for audio-analysis provides 4-channel (Bass, Mid, Mid-High & High) beat/onset detection, 4-channel RMS value, pitch detection, sibilant detection and 256 channel FFT. These values are also compared against previous results to maintain context and smooth animation response.
